    Server not updated with position

    Hi,

I have just installed Reperion05 v1.52 on a Dell x50v with an external GPS and a Portsplitter

When it starts I get a GPS Icon on the title bar and when you click on that, a popup titled "Reperion" appears and you have to click SHOW to get into the application. Is this normal?

My config is tracker1.reperion.com, 10m min Dx, 10 sec update, Com6 correct baud etc.   I also have "Automatically log if no GSM Network" ticked. But logging is turned off.

This morning my client only sent the first two updates to the sever and then nothing else, and nothing was logged.  The GPRS network connection was up (although it was interrupted a few times).  I am getting constant good updates from the GPS, and the counter in the top left is cycling through down to 0001 and starting again, and the distance in the top right is increasing.

Any ideas as to why the data is not getting through after more than the first two transmissions?

Also, is there any way to check the GPS connection and see that data is being sent to the server?

    Thanks

Re: Server not updated with position

I've seen this behaviour before. I switched to version 1.0.0.6 which is suited better for portsplitting setups.

Also, set your logging directory on your PDA to the \mydocuments on your device, not the storage card (sidenote)

    When de-installing 1.52, also remove reperionsave.txt

Another cave-eat would be the "secure connection" tickbox on the bluetooth connection properties for the GPS connection, it seems better to DESELECT that tickbox.

Please your comment and experience. The good thing is, it WILL WORK 100% on your device, the question is how :)
