T-mobile MDA Compact IV - No Sat lock

Hi, I've installed the software WM2006 1.53 on my T-Mobile MDA Compact IV (which i think is a HTC Diamond Touch rebadged)

I'm unable to get a sat lock

The GPS on the device is set to COM4 and works ok with google maps. The port in the Reperion config screen is "Comm1" and I'm unable to change it.

Can anyone offer some advice please?

Sorry for the late reaction ; you must be able to switch ports with the up/down button.

    Please report :)

Re: T-mobile MDA Compact IV - No Sat lock

    Hi

I have just installed Reperion on my MDA Compact IV.  Initially I couldn't change the Port No. as there was no drop down menu and tapping in the relevant box made no difference.  I think I eventually pressed and held the stylus on the Port1 text in the red box and it automatically changed to Port 4.  I could be talking a load of rubbish as I had only just installed the programme and digging around to see what was what.  Anyway, after the Port No. was changed I got a GPS fix within seconds.  I have no idea if that will be of any help to the person who started the thread but I wanted to share it just in case.

Anyway, I am still finding my way around the programme and what it will do for me so I hope to share other pearls of wisdom in due course Stick out tongue  Seriously, I have been able to get a one-off location rather than tracking/logging a route but I know it is just something I need to find out how to do.

A great programme so thanks to the developer(s).
