i want to know how can i set a geofence on google maps and it will draw a circul according to my geofence.

i saw it is possible in that link can someone explain how to do it?

No route in Google Earth

First of all: I'm just using this, so maybe I'm doing something wrong...

I've installed the MIO A701 version (1.0.0.6) yesterday and used the program to log my drive to work this morning. I checked the 'save log' box and for 30 minutes or so, the program was working. After a period of time, it just froze, but the countdown was still working, nothing was logged, however. Tonight, I've uploaded all to your server, and updated Google Earth with your link (http://tracker1.reperion.com/images/myusername.kml). All 'points' are somewhere in the middle of the ocean.....I know I must have done something wrong, but what???

Google Earth Accident and Disaster Channel

Dear Reperion users,

Are you curious about accidents and disasters worldwide ?

As of today, you can add the network link : http://tracker1.reperion.com/images/accident.kml to your Google Earth

client..as a NETWORK LINK - set refresh to 10 minutes.

This link will show any accident reported by any Reperion user currently active on the platform.

To see the video's, photo's and audio of an accident, you need to go to

the http://kmlcomposer.reperion.com and create a KML for user : ACCIDENT

You should keep the date range to 3 days maximum.

If you want to contribute something yourself, i.e., you are

on your way to work, and a truck on the highway flips over,

or your neighbours house is burning down....

just change your username in your PocketReperion client to

user : ACCIDENT pass : ACCIDENT (yes in CAPitals!)

and upload your GPS positions along with photo's , video's and

audio of the accident you are watching.

Don't forget to set your username back to your own if you are finished.

Loading Maps to my O2 Orbit

I am in Afghanistan with an O2 XDA Orbit with GPS. I do not have access to GPRS but can get to the net by wifi and via USB to my computer. How do I get Google Earth Maps to load to my PDA?

Trackers says my username not found

I finally have the client running on my pocketpc phone, and i see messages of uploading positions.

Now I want to track, when I enter my username here

I get an error message 'Name not found".

It is some time ago since i registered at this site.

Can someone fix this?

HOW TO USE -- GOOGLE EARTH -- PROPERLY WITH REPERION

This document explains how to use GPS Tracking Software and Devices

from Reperion to follow persons or vehicles in real time via Google Earth!

Reperion enables you to upload your GPS positions and/or tracks in real time. You can also log your positions and upload them to the server at a later time. You can send audio and pictures, receive location based content, search for nearby websites, send i-SMS to other users or the website, track and navigate to your friends from your PDA using the waypoint function. You can do a lot more really.

You need PocketReperion^TM free for consumers, it runs on PocketPC2003/WM5/SPV/Symbian (AFtrack)

You need to get your Reperion client working. That is, you need an account,

you need to setup your client with your account and password, and you need to update the server with your tracks...be it online via GPRS or UMTS/WiFI or offline at home via ActiveSync. Then goto this page :

and enter your account name in the tracking box. Click the "track" button.

ACCOUNTNAME

You will be presented with this a page giving you the option for PDA and BIG maps. Choose for the BIG MAPS. Then , when all goes well, you will see this page, with your account of course, not mine :

TO USE GOOGLE EARTH take the red link displayed under the picture... the link has the format : http://tracker1.reperion.com/images/yourusern@me.kml

Copy this link to your clipboard, you need to enter it in Google Earth !

Start up Google Earth and open ADD NETWORK LINK, then copy and paste your link into the link box and give it a nice name above it :

Then you need to set the Google Earth network link refresh and view parameters. The most important switches are "Fly to on Refresh" and Update Periodically. Ideally, for tracking people close up, use the Fly To On Refresh option as we have the server configured to zoom in and tilt nicely.

If you want to control the view yourself DO NOT use fly to on refresh.

The refresh parameters should be above 16 seconds, setting it lower is useless as the server seldom servers faster that once per 16 seconds.

here's how you ideally configure for close up follow tracking without user input. The server tells Google Earth to tilt 45 degrees and zoom in to a couple of hundred meters, and autofollow the target.

If you DESELECT Fly To On Refresh, Google Earth will STILL GET THE UPDATES, but your target might drive off the map if you don't manually follow it. Just track a live target and switch between the modes and you'll understand what we mean.
